Definition:

The Future Perfect Tense is used to describe:

  • Actions that will be completed before a specific time in the future

  • Something that will have happened before another future action

  • Events that will be fully completed ahead of a deadline


Structure

Affirmative Sentences (Positive Statements)

Structure:
        Subject + will have + past participle (V3) + Object

Examples:

  • I will have completed my homework by 8 PM.

  • She will have finished her project before the meeting.

  • They will have reached the airport by the time we call.

  • He will have written five chapters by Friday.

  • We will have left by the time you arrive.


Negative Sentences

Structure:
        Subject + will not have (won’t have) + past participle (V3) + Object

Examples:

  • I will not have submitted the report by tonight.

  • She won’t have arrived by 6 PM.

  • They won’t have finished the job before sunset.

  • He will not have taken the exam by next week.

  • We will not have completed our training before the event.


Interrogative Sentences (Questions)

Structure:
        Will + Subject + have + past participle (V3) + Object + ?

Examples:

  • Will you have finished your homework by then?

  • Will she have arrived before noon?

  • Will they have built the house by next summer?

  • Will he have eaten dinner before the movie starts?

  • Will we have reached the destination by sunset?
