Definition:

The Future Indefinite Tense (also called the Simple Future Tense) is used to talk about:

  • Actions that will happen in the future

  • Decisions made at the moment of speaking

  • Promises, offers, or predictions


Structure:

Affirmative Sentences (Positive statements):

Structure:
                 Subject + will + Base Verb (1st form) + Object

Examples:

  • I will call you tomorrow.

  • She will visit the doctor.

  • They will attend the meeting.

  • He will come home late.

  • We will go to the park.


Negative Sentences:

Structure:
                 Subject + will not (won’t) + Base Verb (1st form) + Object

Examples:

  • I will not watch the movie.

  • She will not join us.

  • They will not play cricket.

  • He won’t come today.

  • We won’t go shopping.


Interrogative Sentences (Questions):

Structure:
                 Will + Subject + Base Verb (1st form) + Object + ?

Examples:

  • Will you help me?

  • Will she bake a cake?

  • Will they attend the class?

  • Will he visit his friend?

  • Will we travel tomorrow?
